Want to make some yummy quick cupcakes in a pinch but don't have enough icing?
I had 8 cupcakes left over from an order but I had already used all my homemade icing and I only had 1/4 tub of store bought icing left. Not hardly enough to ice 8 cupcakes successfully, right? Try putting the frosting in a small bowl and heating it the microwave for a few seconds on medium heat, stir until creamy and just dip the top of the cupcake in the icing. Tap off the access and repeat with the next cupcake. I double dipped... shhhhh... don't tell. Once all the cupcakes were coated I added some colored sugar to make them happy.
Just enough sweetness to balance out the cake!
